Living your life to the fullest!
Welcome to Maryland Physical Therapy in Glen Burnie
From its Glen Burnie MD office, Maryland Physical Therapy provides Physical Therapy for the Brooklyn MD, Linthicum MD, Pasadena MD and Severn MD communities
Maryland Physical Therapy (MPT) is dedicated to helping you move better, feel better and live better. You only have one body....why not make sure that you can use it to enjoy all the things in life that give you pleasure? Whether it is gardening, golfing or playing with your children/grandchildren. Or, simply, the ability to walk through the grocery store. It's these "little things" that keep you going and keep you inspired throughout life.
But sometimes an injury or disability may limit your daily activities. Physical Therapy can help. It is a non-surgical approach to pain relief or disability that promotes healing and restores movement in tissue that might be damaged from injury or aging. MPT offers a variety of services related to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of movement dysfunctions and to the enhancement of physical health and functional abilities.
We want to assure you that every step of the way, our trained staff is here to help you feel welcome and comfortable during each of your therapy sessions. Our therapists will empower you to be an active participant in your own health and healing process so that you can get moving and enjoying life to the fullest!
Referral from your physician is preferred but not always required. We are open Monday-Thursday 7a.m.-8p.m., Friday 7a.m.-4p.m. and Saturday hours as needed.

I have had such a positive experience at MPT. Their receptionists are courteous and helpful and always find a convenient time for me to schedule my appointments. I have had the opportunity to work with a few of the therapists and have been happy with each one. They are knowledgeable and have specific exercises that target my needs. I am so thankful for all of their help!

I have been a patient of Maryland Physical Therapy since 2005. The care that I experience there is A Plus. I am treated with the utmost respect and the staff is always concerned with how I am doing and feeling. I also observed the same with the other patients that come to Maryland Physical Therapy. So Thank You to Keith, Eric, Reed, Marie, Rob and Alisa and Heather for all that you do and continue to do to keep us going.

Diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis and not able to take anti inflamatory drugs because of the necessity to take Warfarin, nor being able to have any of the other treatments recommended without stopping the Warfarin, my doctor said that Physical Therapy might help. They recommended MD Physical Therapy and I made an appointment. Many people I talked to were very discouraging about physical therapy helping, but I feel that a positive attitude on part of the patient means everything. I approached it with that attitude and I found the results to be amazing. There is a 100% improvement from where I was until I graduated. I plan to continue some of the various exercises at home on my own to continue to feel good. The staff is very professional and gives the patient every encouragement and the best they have to offer in treatment. As a former and retired Assistant Superintendent of Schools and a professional organist I give them a double A+.

My husband and I were impressed from day one. My husband has a rare diagnosis and Keith developed a plan for his care which has helped his mobility. His entire staff are compassionate, professional and patient with all of their clients. It is a pleasure to witness such good care.

I had major shoulder surgery and the PT I got here helped my recovery dramatically. I noticed improvement every session. I never had to wait for my appointment, and I always felt like I got direct, personal attention. They even regularly gave me pointers and exercises to do on my own. I'd definitely recommend Maryland Physical Therapy to anyone who needs PT.

Keith has found some of the best in the business to help support his practice. Everyone in this office, from the front desk to the PT techs, cares about each patient and gives them their full attention every time they are there. I had a full knee replacement and without Maryland Physical Therapy I would not be doing as well as I am. Not only does everyone here help with getting you back on your feet they also give you moral support, pep talks when needed, and answer all and every question you have. I trust them so much that I referred my mother to them. When I refer the number one person in my life, that is saying alot. Love you guys.

I have been to MD Physical Therapy twice and have had very positive experience both times. They take the time to listen to the issues and evaluate very carefully. They are very professional, yet friendly and care about the patients. I would recommend them very highly to anyone who needs PT. They helped me during my recovery from stress fracture in my ankle and the other time when I had an issue with my T-bone. They help me learn several exercises that I can continue to do for maintenance. I wanted to know about exercises to strengthen and build bones and they were happy to show me. They go out of their way and do much more than just what the job requires. Recently they helped my Dad who was visiting me for two weeks and is recovering from a Stroke. They made time for home visits even with a very short notice and were very attentive and caring toward him. I appreciated that very much. Because of their help and care, he went back home better than when he came. So, thank you very much to Maryland Physical Therapy. And also to Reed and Keith for their excellent support and a job well done.

For one year I have accompanied my father to physical therapy and I very often stay for the sessions. I cannot give Maryland Physical Therapy enough praise. The are professional, yet very friendly. My father looks forward to his sessions weekly. It is a very relaxed atmosphere so the time passes quickly. Each and every therapist and assistant, along with Keith Rohrs, go out of their way to make things fun yet accomplish their goals. We actually do not look forward to his therapy ending.
