Return to Work Program
Our Return to Work Program consists of Work Hardening and Functional Capacity Evaluations. These are specialized programs geared towards helping an injured worker return to work. Each program is specialized based on the physical demands of the job.
This is a goal-oriented, individualized intervention program designed to return the employee to work. Our program consists of obtaining a job demand analysis from the employer and performing an initial assessment of physical and endurance abilities. This test will be used as a baseline measure and will be compared to the required physical demands of the job to determine program goals. Our Work Hardening program consists of exercises, which simulate the work activities of your job, functional activities and education.
Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)
A Functional Capacity Evaluation is a comprehensive evaluation that measures strength, endurance and ability to perform a range of functional tasks. They are designed to compare your physical abilities to those required by your job demands. This will determine your level of function and ability to return to work.
